This is a gap wedge but you can pretty much use anything you fancy.

Agreed. The one-handed drill especially using the trail hand is a great drill in learning to control the club face. My Aussie teacher, Gary Edwin, is a big proponent of this drill

Great tip Mo, thanks. I’ve been practicing in my back garden for 5 weeks but I was getting much better contact and more consistency after trying your drills. Cheers
